Kevin Lignell joined Count MI Vote in November 2016, and leads the VNP Fundraising Committee. Kevin is a Communications Consultant with over 8 years of experience working with mission-based organizations. Currently, Kevin works with the School-Community Health Alliance of Michigan on strategies to support School-Based Health Centers in Michigan. Previously, Kevin was the Director of Communications and Development for Reading Works, a backbone adult literacy organization in Detroit. Kevin has also worked for organizations focusing on criminal justice reform, poverty reduction, and watershed restoration. Kevin is a Young Leader with the Detroit Economic Club, and a Marjorie S. Fisher Fellow Alumni with the Association for Fundraising Professionals of Greater Detroit. Kevin received his Bachelors of Communications and Masters of Nonprofit Management from Grand Valley State University.
