HOUSE BILL 4007 - 4016
The bipartisan Legislative Open Records Acts (House Bills 4007–4016) are a package of bills that require the legislature and governor’s office to make certain kinds of records publicly available upon request. While the bills include some issues—they make many exemptions for certain types of records and create an opaque review process that bypasses the courts—they are a step toward government transparency.
