Post-Hearing Celebration

Join Voters Not Politicians leaders, supporters, and Former Mayor of Lansing David Hollister for a celebration at the Soup Spoon Cafe in Lansing from 2:00-4:00pm on Thursday, following the Board of Canvassers hearing.

After months of traveling to every corner of the state and hearing from thousands of Michiganders who want to end gerrymandering, after months of talented volunteers using that input to carefully design a policy which respects the unique character and needs of Michigan, and after 45 days of delay by the Bureau of Elections, we will finally have a hearing with the Board of Canvassers!

Getting to this point as an all-volunteer grassroots organization-- powered not by money, or political insiders, but by the people of Michigan-- is a huge success. We are preparing to begin signature collection following the hearing, and you can join us for a celebration- and be among the first people to sign the petition! David Hollister-- who has served Lansing as mayor, state representative, and county commissioner-- will lead the signing ceremony.

Let's sign, let's donate, let's celebrate, and then let's get out there and collect signatures! Join us at the Soup Spoon Cafe because voters should choose their politicians, not the other way around.
