Job Description



Voters Not Politicians is a nonpartisan, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to passing a state constitutional amendment to end partisan gerrymandering by creating a transparent system that takes politicians and lobbyists out of redistricting, prevents districts from being drawn to favor any party, and putting Michigan citizens in charge through an Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission.


The Field Office Coordinator will identify and secure field offices across the state of Michigan for Voters Not Politicians. The Field Office Coordinator will establish policies and procedures for each office including training, see that each office is staffed and supplied, and coordinate office use by the field team and other campaign staff and volunteers. Evening/weekend hours and some travel will be required.  



Secure office space as directed by the Campaign Operations Manager

Ensure leases and payment arrangements are approved and finalized

Establish procedures and policies for each office

Establish staffing and training protocol for each office

Work with Finance/Supply Chain Committee to facilitate setup, furnishing, etc., for each office

Work with IT Committee to set up necessary computers, printers, etc.

Ensure that offices are welcoming and safe and that all necessary documentation is available

Visit all offices regularly

Comfortable using technology

Proactive, positive, flexible, and responsible



At least 6 months regional or statewide campaign experience as a campaign organizer. Field office experience preferred.
